Cinema for Peace founder Jaka Bizilj evacuates Pussy Riot associate after they were detained in Qatar

Cinema for Peace founder, Jaka Bizilj, evacuates Pussy Riot associate, Peter Verzilov, after he is detained in Qatar for storming the pitch at the World Cup Final. Verzilov was part of a Pussy Riot effort to protest the Ukranian War at the Wolrd Cup Final, but was arrested before he could enter the pitch to make his statement.

Cinema for Peace has maintained a strong connection with Pussy Riot over the years, believing their brave actions to be essential in establishing freedom and peace in Russia.
